With picturesque views over a rolling wheat field, Ryebank Corner glamping campsite is located in the heart of a working Sussex farm, offering glamping in either one of our three yurts or three bell tents. Accommodating up to 4 people per yurt, or 6 per bell tent, Ryebank Corner is the perfect location for couples and families, or even for larger group bookings of up to 30 people.
As well as our fantastic glamping site, we also have two lodges close by. Oakwood Lodge is just a two minute walk from the site which can sleep up to six people, and Beech Wood Lodge is a 10 minute walk from the site, sleeping up to four people. Both lodges are dog friendly.
We had a lovely weekend at Ryebank Corner Glamping, taking over the whole site with multiple families in our group. The yurts and bell tents were well equipped and comfortable. The BBQs, firepits and camping stoves made it easy to prepare several meals. We walked to the beach at Climping to paddle and then spent a full day at West Beach, just a short drive along the coast. We walked across the field to have dinner at the White Horse, which was also excellent. The glorious weather helped, but the team at Ryebank Corner have set up a really special space.
We’re serial glampers, and our annual trip with school parents and kids is something we all really look forward to. This place came recommended by a friend, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. As a large group, the exclusive private hire option was perfect for us. The site literally has everything you need to just turn up with your clothes, food, and drink. Marion couldn’t have been more helpful. You can really tell how much thought has gone into making sure guests have everything they might need: a generous supply of charcoal for multiple BBQs, extra gas for the camping stoves, a huge supply of wood for the camp fire, lighters, matches, salt and pepper, cooking oil, hot water to wash up the plates and cutlery that is there and even electricity to your yurt/tent with your own fridge! She truly has thought of everything so you can turn up with literally the shirt on your back. It’s ideal for anyone wanting their own corner of a field to enjoy the peace and beauty of the natural surroundings. There are two pubs within equal walking distance, and the beach is just a 15-minute stroll through a picturesque wheat field. We had some lovely walks out to Littelhampton and drive out to Arundel. If we were being hyper-critical, we’d say that the kids usually enjoy a bit of open space for games like cricket or football, but they were not disappointed and still had an amazing time running through the tracks in the wheat field and exploring the surrounding forest. One of them was lucky enough to spot a couple of deer early one morning! We all had a fantastic time, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you, Marion!
Excellent stay yurts very clean and facilities well kept however, land owner drives like a lunatic along the small concrete road towards the oystercatcher pub (only way in or out) and is very unapologetic when he’s nearly killed 4 adults and 2 children that were left in tears and shaken! People who stay here beware!
We had a wonderful time at Ryebank Corner Glamping. The yurt was comfortable, and fully equipped with all we needed. We enjoyed using the provided BBQ and fire pit. We had a lovely stroll to Climping beach, and enjoyed a drink in The Black Horse pub - just a short walk across the field. We will definitely be back! Thank you Marion!
I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my 30th birthday glamping with friends at Ryebank Corner Campsite! The yurts we stayed in were wonderfully kitted out with all of our camping needs; from cutlery/pots/pans to fans and mini fridges. Amazing facilities included several options for cooking (BBQ, mini portable Gas Stove and a fire-pit), fully working bathroom and shower, comfy beds with sheets/duvets, plenty of camping chairs and tables and even electricity/plugs! Thanks Marion for making my 30th a special one! If you're looking for a peaceful hidden gem by the south coast (walking distance from a couple of beaches) then this is the place for you!
Just enjoyed a greatcBH weekend with friends at Ryebank Corner. A warm welcome from Marion who helped with any questions and great location to walk to beach, Arundel, Littlehampton and local pubs. Didn’t need the car at all which was wonderful
Can’t speak highly enough of this lovely site. This is our 3rd year in a row and we’ll be back for many more to come! The site is clean, you have all the facilities and amenities you need and the owner is unbelievably attentive and helpful. A must no matter what kind of group you are in!
We had the best weekend. The Yurts are spacious and feel luxurious with comfy beds and beautiful decor. You're provided with everything you may need from fridges/freezers/gas stoves/BBQs to plates and pans. All you have to do is turn up and have a great time. Perfectly situated for amazing walks along rivers and beaches, pubs and cafes on the door step and what a door step - wake up to view of uninterrupted fields and peace. Can't wait to go back 🙂
A special weekend with my teenage lad - we were made to feel welcome from the off and the facilities were top class. Lots of thought has gone into the place, including fire pits, BBQs, hot water on tap and flexible bedding arrangements. We enjoyed some beautiful hiking in the South Downs and then chilled at the site each evening, which is small enough to feel intimate, surrounded as it is by peaceful farmland. Sea and pub a short walk away.
I've never done glamping before but I was so impressed by this site. Whenever I've looked glamping up before it's been so expensive! But if you have several beds per tent then this option is very reasonable. Everything is so well thought out. They provide torches and lamps, bedding, towels, plates, bowls, cups, plastic glasses, cutlery and knives, pots & pans, washing up bowl and drainer, washing up liquid and sponge + cloth. Honestly, I can't really fault it, but if I could give one piece of constructive criticism then I would say that one of the toilets was leaking (clean water) out of the back. There was a tupperware container to collect it but it filled up every few hours. The overflow wasn't ideal for obvious reasons but this was also the toilet with better water pressure so we designated it as the 'poo toilet'! Also the shower instructions were a little ambiguous. Loved the Shower Shack concept in general though! So much nicer than the last campsite showers I used.
